Creation of the Research center was largely determined by the wideness and effectiveness of research activities of University scientists in the field of educational science and psychology, the implementation of scientific projects, as a part of the national project "Education".

Over the last years, the University has trained more than 30 doctors and candidates of pedagogical and psychological Sciences. Professor of the Department of psychology and educational sciences Boris Karev became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of education.

The purpose of the center is to integrate the scientific potential of the Russian Academy of Education, the Amur state University and the Amur region in the implementation of joint fundamental and exploratory research in the field of educational science, psychology and other innovative projects.

Doctor of pedagogical Sciences, Professor Andrey V. Leifa is appointed as a head of the Amur scientific center of the Russian Academy of education.
