December 16, 2020 The Amur State University and Anshan Normal University signed the Agreement of Cooperation. Dew to pandemic restriction the signing ceremony was in the on-line mode.
The partners exchanged ceremonial speeches, introduced their institutions, and shared their views on future collaboration.
Both university presidents noted the significance of academic partnership as an integral part of global strategic partnership of Russia and China.
AmSU President PLUTENKO Andrey and ANU President LIU Gengwei signed up the Agreement. The document reflects major trends of partners’ collaboration in education, research, and academic exchanges.
The signing ceremony was attended by: on the part of AmSU Andrey Leifa, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work, Natalia Royba, Head of the International Department and Anna Titova, Deputy Head of the International Department, on the part of ANU - Guo Xianchun, Vice-Rector of ANU, Liu Haitao, Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Dean of the Institute of International Education, Zhang Ying, Secretary of the Party Bureau of the Institute of International Education, Yao Ge, Deputy Dean of the Institute of International
Education, Wang Lingling, Associate Dean, Institute of International Education and translators Cui Huiying and Ekaterina Bondareva.
In the near future, partner universities are going to develop a plan for academic exchanges of students and teachers and discuss the possibility of creating joint educational programs.
