Preparatory Department for International Students

In 2013 there was organized Preparatory Department for international students who learn Russian language and other disciplines to get prepared examinations for admission to Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programs. They take grammar and lexis of the Russian language, academic writing and conversation classes, listening, phonetics, Russian culture and traditions (culture-oriented linguistics). Foreign students learn mathematics, social science and other courses that are supposed to serve as entry exams. Upon completion the certificates of “Russian as a Foreign Language” will be given along with the transcripts. Studying at the Preparatory Department runs for 10 months (one academic year), but special short-term training programs are also practiced. Tuition fee is 125800 rubles for 1 academic year.
