On September 2, a ceremonial assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge was held on the square in front of the main building of the Amur State University. It brought together freshmen of nine faculties, the Institute of Computer and Engineering Sciences, and Amur State University General Education Lyceum students.

The students, teachers and lyceum students were congratulated by the rector of the Amur State University Andrey Plutenko.

"This year is truly special for us. On March 20, 2025, we will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of our university. I am sure that together we will make this academic year even more interesting and rich in events and activities," Andrey Dolievich said.

Traditionally, the rector introduced the vice-rectors, deans and leading specialists of the university.

The "Lucky Student Card," which brings good luck to everyone who touches it, this year was handed over to the freshmen by the chairman of the Joint Student Council, Elizaveta Naumkina and Anastasia Vivdich, the student of the Institute of Computer and Engineering Sciences, who scored the highest number of points on the results of the Unified State Exam when entering the university. Bupe Chanda, a student from Zambia, the Red Fox dance group, as well as Kristina Zemlyanko and other talented university students came out with congratulations.

After the ceremonial assembly, informational meetings were held at the faculties.
