Li Haitao, a master's student of the Faculty of Economics, participated in the Fifth Anniversary Competition for readers among students from Asia and Africa, "Victory in the Hearts of Generations".
The competition was organized to increase the interest of foreign students in learning the Russian language and promote works of Russian literature that celebrate the heroism of people and preserve the memories of the deeds of the defenders of the homeland.
The organizers of the competition were the Committee for Solidarity and Cooperation with the Peoples of Asia and Africa and the Youth Section of the Russian Committee.
At the competition, Li Haitao presented R. Kazakov's poem "In a Photo in a Newspaper..."
In fact, the student noted that the difficulty was made in reading the poem expressively with emotions than in learning it.
