Mikhail Rykalin, a third-year student at the Institute of Computer and Engineering Sciences, won the national student Olympiad “I am a Professional” in the field of Oil and Gas Engineering.
In the final competition, participants from various regions of Russia faced off against each other.
The task required them to determine the characteristics of an oil field and to formulate conclusions regarding the best development scheme for that field.
Winners and prizewinners of the “I am a Professional” Olympiad are eligible for benefits when applying to master’s and doctoral programs at leading Russian universities, as well as opportunities for internships at specialized organizations and research centers.
