This initiative took place amidst the X Sino-Russian EXPO, one of the key events fostering bilateral ties between Russia and China.
The AmGU delegation actively participated in business forums and negotiations with partner institutions. Cooperation accords encompassed areas such as linguistic education, academic exchanges, scientific collaborations, cultural interactions, and innovative projects. Significant partnerships were established with Heilongjiang Institute of Foreign Languages, Harbin Pyotroleum Institute, and Harbin Cambridge University.
Collaboration formats included teacher exchange programs, supplementary education initiatives (including summer and winter schools), networked learning models, student internships, and joint organization of scholarly and cultural activities.
Svishchev highlighted the importance of enhancing specialist preparation involving Chinese language proficiency and translation studies. He stressed the significance of immersion experiences in native language settings and practical exposure to local economies and cultures. Given the strategic location of the Amur region as a logistical hub bordering Russia and China, demand for qualified professionals remains exceptionally high. Through expanded international engagement, the university aims to refine existing programs and further support regional workforce requirements.
In addition to formal agreements, symbolic gestures marked the occasion, including a commemorative photograph taken against the backdrop of an Angara rocket model.
