On September 1st, the traditional festive assembly took place in front of the main building of Amur State University, gathering hundreds of freshmen, professors, deans of faculties, industrial partners, and university administration.
Interim rector Alexei Svishchev also congratulated future students of Amur State University on Knowledge Day.
"The university is ready to do its utmost so that each one of you, entering these walls today, can not only receive education and a diploma but also have real opportunities to improve your life for the better," he addressed the newbies. "Here, you'll have the chance to demonstrate your professional skills, find opportunities for talent development, perhaps even meet your soulmate and start a family."
"Our university already leads in many respects, and together with you we can make it even better by filling it with inspiring events that motivate us all to move forward and grow," concluded Alexey Vladimirovich.
