On February 20, one part of preparatory works for the launch of the nanosatellite of the Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China took place in Moscow. The team of the Amur State University, which is an integrator of the international project, also took part in it.
In the clean room of OOO “Orbitalnye Systemy”, there was the fit check to the testpod of the mass-dimensional “Druzhba ATURK” satellite model. It is an ultimate analogue of the transporter-launcher container of the nanosatellite created by the partner of the university in the technological sphere.
The fit check was attended by Dmitry Fomin, the project group supervisor and the head of AmSU Scientific and Educational Center of K. Tsiolkovsky (SEC). The Engineering Physics faculty students Anna Kizima, Valeria Skripalenko, Sergey Chiryasov and Alexando Anoikin, who actively work in the satellite design group of the SEC and the student design bureau "Rocket Engineering", also took part in the event.
Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China satellite model fit check passed successfully. Moreover, the representatives of AmSU and OOO "Orbitalnye systemy" discussed the schedule of next works for preparing spacecraft launch and solved technical issues connected with testpod adaptation to different stands for holding vibrodynamic nanosatellite tests.
During the trip the project group also attended Bauman Moscow State Technical University where they learnt about the work of Mission Control Center and Small Spacecraft Designing Construction Bureau. The group visited the museum of MSTU and met the university representatives.
The photos are presented by Bauman MSTU (photographer Anna Matsaeva), OOO "Orbitalnye systemy" and members of AmSU delegation.
