VTB bank Otkritie banks are merging, and all customers are switching to VTB services. In connection with these innovations, students had questions that were answered by bank representatives:
Will my Otkritie card stop working?
- The Otkritie Bank cards will remain active until the end of the year. You will be able to use them to pay and enter buildings and dormitories at the university.
Where will my scholarship go?
- Until you receive a VTB card, you can spend your scholarship fr om the Otkritie Bank card. The bank account to which the scholarship is credited belongs to VTB.
How do I switch to VTB?
- For the convenience of students, VTB Bank specialists will be located on the first floor of the main building of AmSU in September. They will issue bank cards, help you install the app and tell you how to use your personal account with the bank.
Are there any other options?
- Students of Amur State University can also switch to VBT online. To do so, go to the Open Bank mobile app and click on the "Go to VTB" button. After clicking it, transfer of all services will begin - deposits, savings accounts, cards, and loans with VTB. If you have any difficulties, you can contact bank VTB branch wh ere they will assist you with registering a plastic card and installing the app.
- Can the VTB card be used to enter the campus?
Yes.
Will Discovery services, including mobile apps, remain available?
The mobile application will continue to work until the end of 2024. Meanwhile, you can also use VTB Online, which has services and programs similar to those offered by Otkritie Bank, including direct cash back in rubles.
If I have a long, do I also need to reissue it?
You will receive a notification about transferring your loan to VTB. To do so, simply open a free account with VTB and use the VTB transfer service in the app. Your loan will be transferred to VTB without any additional action required.
What should I do about deposits when their terms and?
Conditions for all existing deposits remain unchanged. They will continue until the date specified in the contract, after which you will be asked to move funds to a VTB account and manage them as you see fit.
