Young scientists of the Scientific and Educational Center Alexander Voronkov and Sofya Kudak under the guidance of Dmitry Fomin have developed and patented a remote launch control system for space models via Wi-Fi channel. Spacemodelling sport is actively developing in Russia. It is gaining popularity among schoolchildren and students. They show their skills at various sports and technical events on launching space models.

This new invention will ensure a high level of safety when launching such models. Additional advantages are the possibility of simultaneous access to information on the current launch status for all participants of sports and technical event and the use of a smartphone or laptop as a remote control (the main condition is that the gadget has a Wi-Fi module).
