On November 6, members of the Amur State University Students' Design Bureau launched their rockets. They were developed by two teams of students and researchers of the Amur State University.

The Amur high-powered rocket is unique for our country. Only a few major technical universities in Russia have the technical capabilities and experience in designing missiles of this type. By the standards of students' designs it is also large-sized: 2.4 m high, the body diameter is 15.5 cm, and the mass – 16 kg.

The achieved flight altitude was a record, 1498 meters for the Students' Design Bureau.

The second team developed their rocket in six months. "NCP 1000" was also entirely designed by students and researchers from the Amur State University.

The flight allowed the team to test a new separation system, a lightweight rocket design, and a unique remote launch system. Alexander Voronkov, an engineer at the K. E. Tsiolkovsky Scientific and Educational Centre, took an active part in its development.

The remote launch system works via WI-FI, which allows the rocket to be launched using a smartphone.
