Foreign students took part in the international underwater exploration sports championship “IFURS-Blagoveshchensk”.

The event became a large-scale occasion within the framework of an educational solutions forum, bringing together teams from universities and schools across Amur region and other regions of Russia. Students competed in the age category 18+ in the discipline of “Underwater Bolide” (underwater ring racing).

Over three days, participants underwent intensive training: they studied the design of underwater vehicles, practiced their control skills, and participated in runs for accuracy and maneuverability. Despite most students encountering underwater robotics for the first time, they demonstrated high levels of technical ingenuity, teamwork, and stress resilience.

Participation in this interdisciplinary event allowed students not only to develop teamwork, communication, and intercultural interaction skills but also to become acquainted with modern forms of additional education—from technical creativity to project activities. Such interdisciplinary experience is particularly important for future specialists in pedagogy and psychology as it fosters flexible thinking and readiness for innovations in the educational environment.
