It is advisable to decide on the choice of university degree course in early spring in order to have time to get an invitation and a visa. The procedure for admission of foreign citizens to AmSU higher education programmes is not complicated. An applicant must fill in an application form, attach copies of a foreign passport, an education certificate, a questionnaire, and a photograph. All documents must be translated into Russian and notarized or certified by the consular section of the Russian Embassy. The applicant will be contacted by a member of university staff and will be guided through the admission process and arrival at the university. After arriving in Russia, foreign students get a medical check-up with fingerprinting and apply for a multiple-entry visa.

– This year, our admission campaign for international students ended in mid-July (and previously it lasted a month longer). So in August we dealt with visa processing, applicants paid their tuition fees, and from September 1 they started studying.
