On December 17, the Amur Regional Scientific Library hosted a literary and musical holiday 'I listen to Russian speech with my heart', which was organized and held by the Department of Literature and World Art Culture of the Amur State University. At the international event dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin's birth, his poems were performed by Chinese and Russian students of the Amur State University. Foreign cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School from Guinea and Burkina Faso recited poems written by Innokenty Annensky, Vladimir Vysotsky, Nikolai Pal'kin, Robert Rozhdestvensky, and Leonid Tatarenko. But Pushkin with his love for man, for his homeland, for the culture of the Russian people sounded in every line.
Russian and foreign participants were able to test their knowledge of Pushkin's life and work by answering exciting quizzes questions. And the magic Pushkin's cylinder told them what poems of the poet sounded in their heads.
