A solemn event dedicated to Victory Day was held at the Faculty of Philology, titled "Memory That Unites Generations and Countries." The meeting was organized by Russian and Chinese students from groups 397-ob1 and 590-ob, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language, Communication, and Journalism, Oksana Arkachova.

The program featured a recitation of Tatyana Grakhova's poem "Auschwitz", performed by student Dmitry Bugaev. His heartfelt delivery resonated deeply with the audience.

A special highlight was the speech by Darya Podstrelova, who shared the story of her great-grandfather, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. She recounted his life, military service, and awards, and presented a family-made video created for a competition. Darya emphasized that the memory of her great-grandfather will be passed down through the generations.

In the second part of the event, an intellectual quiz show, "Jeopardy!" (Своя игра), took place. Participants tested their knowledge of the Great Patriotic War. The questions were divided into four thematic blocks: "Hero Cities," "Writers and Poets of Wartime," "Music of the War," and "The Soldier's Feat." For each correct answer, teams received carnation buds—a symbol of remembrance. At the end of the game, the most erudite history expert was determined.

The event concluded with the words of the hosts: "We live in different countries, but we must remember one lesson: peace is fragile. And we must cherish it." These words summed up the meeting, reminding everyone that the memory of war is not only a tribute to the past but also a solemn charge for the future—a call to preserve peace.
