More than 300 foreigners wrote the Olympiad in the Russian language

On March 23, the III International Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language took place. The Olympiad was held remotely on the online platform of the AmSU. After the official opening ceremony, foreign citizens began to solve the Olympiad tasks. The Third International Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language has significantly expanded its geography. It was attended by foreign students from Turkmenistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Gabon and other countries of the world. In total, more than 300 people tested their knowledge of the Russian language.Participants from Amur State University, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University, Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Heihe University, Mudanjiang Pedagogical University, Harbin Pedagogical University, Changchun University, Heilongjiang Institute of Foreign Languages, Anshan Pedagogical University and North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower completed tasks of basic and first levels of complexity for two hours.
Each participant of the Olympiad received a personalized electronic certificate. Five winners of the first level of difficulty will have the opportunity in the 2023/2024 academic year to apply for competitive selection for studying in master's programs at Russian universities within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens.
