On November 11 at 17:25 AMGU-1 satellite (AMURSAT) entered its 13000th orbit around the Earth.
The satellite completes one orbit around the Earth in 95.1 minute. The maximum altitude above the Earth (Apogee) is 545.2 km, and the minimum altitude (Perigee) is 515.6 km.
It should be reminded that the AMGU-1 satellite (AMURSAT) was created by representatives of the AmSU in partnership with the Research Institute of Nuclear Physics named after D.V. Skobeltsyn of the Moscow State University. The satellite is a three-unit CubeSat and weighs about 3 kg.
The satellite is equipped with a “Foton-Amur” self-developed AMSU device, a “DeKor” charged particle detector developed by the Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Moscow State University and with an automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast ADS-B.
The AMGU-1 (AMURSAT) was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome on July 5, 2019 at 14:41 local time.
