Russian-Chinese satellite model was presented at the Congress of Young Scientists at the Sirius Federal Territory

The Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi hosted the IV Congress of Young Scientists, the business programme of the event included round tables, expert sessions, panel discussions and exhibitions. At one of these exhibitions, organized by VOIR (All-Russia Society of Inventors and Innovators), an engineering model of the first Russian-Chinese university satellite DRUZHBA-ATURK was presented, the main developers of which were the Amur State University and the Harbin Institute of Technology (the satellite was successfully launched into orbit on November 5, 2024).

An awarding ceremony for the winners of the II All-Russian contest 'Inventor of the Year 2024' also took place at the exhibition. The winner was Dmitry Fomin, Director of the K. E. Tsiolkovsky Research and Educational Centre of the Amur State University.
