Students of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education visited the Central Municipal Library of Blagoveshchensk. Library staff prepared and held an event for students “Fantasy project “Country of Opportunities”.
Participants of the event were divided into four creative groups. Foreign students also participated in the event. For better social and cultural adaptation, foreign students and Russian students were united in mixed teams.
Teams had to come up with their own fictional country, tell about a history of its appearance, specify its name, capital, flag, coat of arms, basic law of their country and choose a president, as well as tell about population, culture, customs and traditions.
Students had to display all their thoughts and ideas on a sheet of paper using colored markers. Teams were given 30 minutes to prepare their fantasy project, and no more than 10 minutes to present their project.
Any attendee could ask teams questions at their presentations of fantasy projects. The best fantasy project was chosen by applause.
