On May 14, the awarding ceremony for the winners of the International Mathematical Olympiad was held.
The Olympiad was attended by 14 students of AmSU and 51 students from Heihe University. Students spent several hours solving problems in mathematical analysis, algebra and geometry, complex analysis, differential equations, and probability theory.
Two weeks later, the organizers declared the winners of the Olympiad. Both the Olympiad and the awarding ceremony were held in videoconference mode.
Teachers of AmSU are impressed by the preparation level of Heihe University students, their ability to solve complex mathematical problems. We expressed our gratitude to the teachers and staff of the university for their help in organizing the Olympiad! University representatives agreed that after the opening of the borders, it is possible to hold a mathematical Olympiad in a face-to-face format.
Prizes were distributed as follows:
1st degree Diploma - Alexey Khmelev, student of the 2nd year of a major Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Amur State University.
2nd degree Diploma –谢安琪 (Xie Anqi), 3rd year student of the educational program "Mathematics" of Heihe University,
3rd degree Diploma – 王雨童 (Wang Yuzhong), 3rd year student of the educational program "Mathematics" of Heihe University,
The following students were awarded special nominations:
