The results of the registration campaign for the VIII season of the Olympiad 'I AM A PROFESSIONAL' of the presidential platform 'Russia is a Country of Opportunities' have been summarized.
More than 689,259 students representing 1,059 Russian universities and branches from all 89 regions of the country applied for participation; 220 of them were the students of the Amur State University. The students had access to 10 large groups comprising 71 disciplines, including areas prioritized to ensure the country's technological sovereignty.
Students of the Amur State University annually take an active part in the Olympiad 'I AM A PROFESSIONAL', taking prizes:
2020-2021 academic year – 1 bronze medal (Power Engineering Department);
2021-2022 academic year – 1 winner's diploma (Physics Engineering Department), 2 prize-winners' diplomas (Department of Social Sciences, Law Department), 3 certificates of participation (Design and Technology Department, Power Engineering Department);
2022-2023 academic year – 1 bronze medal (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science), 5 winners' diplomas (Law Department, Physics Engineering Department, Philological Department), 1 prize-winner's diploma (Economics Department);
2023-2024 academic year – 1 bronze medal (Institute of Computer Science and Engineering), 1 prize-winning diploma (Economics Department), 3 finalists (Department of Social Sciences).
In the VIII season of the Olympiad 'I AM A PROFESSIONAL' AmSU participants will demonstrate their professional competences in the following areas: Engineering Sciences and Technology – 88 students, Natural Sciences (Ecology, Geology, Physics, Mathematics) – 58 students, Arts and Humanities – 5 students, Computer Science – 56 students, Agro-industrial Complex and Food Technologies – 2 students, Pedagogical Sciences – 2 students, Socio-Economic Sciences – 44 students, Physical Education – 4 students, Project Management – 40 students, Pedagogical Education (basic) – 21 students, Psychology – 17 students, Pedagogical Education (pre-school) – 16 students, Sociology – 1 student, Special (Defectological) Education – 1 student, Advertising and Public Relations – 1 student, Arts and Humanities: Design, Journalism, Creative Industries – 1 student, Tourism – 10 students, Oriental Studies: Chinese Studies, Korean Studies, Japanese Studies – 14 students, Law – 7 students, Design and Technology – 27 students. The majority of students will participate in several directions.
The project diploma winners receive additional bonuses, including preferential admission to the next level of education, as well as cash prizes of up to 300 thousand rubles for medallists.
