The delegation of Amur State University, consisting of Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work, Andrey Vasilyevich Leif; Associate Professor of the Department of Design; Chairman of the Amur branch of the Union of Designers, Svetlana Vilenovna Sanatova; and Associate Professor Lyubov Sergeevna Stanishevskaya, took part in the grand opening of the Russian-Chinese Creative Design Union at Heihe University on 22 and 23 August.

The opening ceremony of the Russian-Chinese Union of Creative Design was held by the Department of Education of Heilongjiang Province, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Heihe University, Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, and Amur State University in Russia.

The solemn events were attended by about 40 heads and representatives of Chinese and Russian universities, industry associations, experts, and scientists. A meeting was held to discuss and approve the charter of the Russian-Chinese Union of Creative Design, as well as its structure and formats for activity.

Andrey Vasilyevich Leifa met with the rector of Heihe University, Yang Jianmin, to discuss plans for future cooperation in educational and scientific activities. Love Sergeevna Stanishevskaya gave a report on "Integration of cultural diversity in the region into the learning process for creative specialties," in which she presented the implemented creative projects by graphic design students.

Within the framework of the event, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the Chinese-Russian creative design competition "Urban Brand" and the signing of an agreement on developing creative cooperation.
The Chinese-Russian Center for Science, Technology, Culture and Art at Heihe University has opened an exhibition entitled "Masterpieces of Russian Art." Among the works on display were paintings by V. A. Serebryakov and S. A. Popov, both of whom work in the Department of Design.

There were meetings on the exchange of experience and the opening of a studio by Academician Lyubavin A.A., the rector of the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after V.I. Surikov, at Heihe University. The establishment of the Russian-Chinese Creative Design Union promotes increased understanding and respect between different cultures and cultural exchange and cooperation in various fields. In this case, design is used as a powerful tool for diplomacy, creating a platform for exchanging ideas and cooperating between countries.
