The Amur State University team Amur took part in the Opening of the Engineering and Space Conference of the XIV All-Russian Aerospace Engineering School Championship, which was held at the Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The aim of participation is to present the project of the high-power rocket "Amur-2" to the Expert Committee. Based on the results of the defense and subsequent work on the project, it will be decided on the admission of the AmSU Student Design Bureau team to the finals of the Championship: rocket launches, which will be held in July in the Vladimir region.

These competitions in rocket engineering are the largest and most prestigious in Russia. And it was the AmSU students' first experience of participating in such an event.

According to the compulsory technical task (the main mission), the team Amur needs to design and construct a launch vehicle to launch a mass-size model of a vehicle with its own rescue system to an altitude of at least 1 kilometre.
