The event was organized by the International Student Club EcF and was aimed at creating a united educational and cultural environment for students from different countries. It also promoted citizenship, patriotism, and tolerance among students.

Freshman Gomez Januario Butisa talked about the traditions of celebrating New Year in Angola. In his country, like in Russia, it is celebrated on December 31st, and on the same day New Year's Eve takes place in Mali, home country of Pate Moreau, first-year economics student. Russian New Year traditions were presented by Kristina Molokova from group 47ob. She also noted that this year Chinese New Year was celebrated on the main square in Blagoveshchensk which symbolized Russian-Chinese friendship. At the end of the event a quiz was held for the audience on their performances. The most attentive participants received prizes - the symbol of 2025 and traditional New Year treats - sweets.
