The first Russian-Chinese satellite "DRUZHBA ATURK" has passed the final tests

News and events

The development of the first Russian-Chinese satellite "DRUZHBA ATURK" is being carried out by students and postgraduates from the Amur State University and Harbin Polytechnic University within the activities of the Association of Russian and Chinese Technical Universities.

Right now, before going into outer space, the satellite performs two functions: scientific and technical – developing the satellite platform and its payload, and an educational one, thanks to which future space industry specialists can learn about the components and functionality of the modules they will have to work with. The spacecraft has already successfully passed the final dynamic vibration testing at the Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Moscow State University. The tests have shown that the satellite can withstand the destructive impact that the launch vehicle has on it when entering orbit.

Based on the test results, a certificate has already been obtained, which will
become a pass for the satellite's flight into space.

After the satellite enters orbit, we will be able to obtain data on the operation of photoelectric converters in space. The material for them was made in the Surface Physics laboratory of the Tsiolkovsky Scientific and Educational Center.
