The II International Olympiad on Russian Studies was held at AmSU, bringing together students from various countries to test their knowledge and understanding of Russian history and culture. A total of 238 students participated from China, Venezuela, South Africa, Vietnam, the Central African Republic, and other nations.

The Olympiad was inaugurated by the rector of AmSU, Alexey Vladimirovich Swishchev, who addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange and the in-depth study of Russia.

During the Olympiad, participants undertook tasks of varying complexity, covering a wide range of topics in Russian studies, including historical events, cultural traditions, ethnographic features, and the contemporary realities of Russia.
