The teachers and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences participated in a program to train junior first aid instructors at the Amur Branch of the Russian Red Cross

- First aid is an important first step towards an effective and rapid response in emergency situations. It can help minimize injuries and suffering, increase the chances of survival. - said Natalia Runushkina, Chairwoman of the regional branch of RSC and a graduate student at Amur State University. - In life-threatening situations, there is no rapid response service that can react as quickly as a person next to you. Therefore, knowing the basics of first aid can save lives and avoid serious consequences.

The training was conducted in accordance with the International Standards on First Aid, Resuscitation, and Education of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (International First Aid and Resuscitation Guidelines, IFRC, Geneva, 2020) and using a variety of interactive technologies.
