AmSU presented a device designed for small spacecraft aimed at studying the phenomenon of contamination.
Finalists included teams fr om 30 universities across various countries, including China, Russia, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Pakistan, and Egypt. The finals of the competition took place in Hong Kong, wh ere representatives of AmSU showcased their developments.
- We gave a presentation in English, speaking before representatives from major organizations such as the European Space Agency, the Beijing Institute of Technology, and others. After the presentation, the experts asked several questions about our project. One of them pertained to our plans for its development. We explained that, thanks to our development, we would be able to provide manufacturers of optical devices with recommendations that would help extend the lifespan of their equipment, - said Alexander Voronkov, a junior research fellow at Amur State University.
