The Amur State University annually compiles a ranking which allows assessing the faculties' activities in various areas. According to the results of the ranking evaluation, the Faculty of Economics and the Institute of Computer and Engineering Sciences shared the 1st and the 2nd place, while the Faculty of Philology gained the 3rd place.

In terms of the indicator ‘Educational activity’ the highest number of points was scored by the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law. Based on the results of ‘International activity’ assessment, the leading positions are occupied by three faculties: the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Philology. The Institute of Computer and Engineering Sciences and the Faculty of International Relations are the leading faculties by the indicator ‘Scientific activity’. The Institute of Computer Science and Engineering and the Faculty of Economics showed the best results in the implementation of additional professional education courses. In terms of ‘Media activity’ all faculties occupy high positions in the ranking.
