The main purpose of the Division

The main objective of the Division is to solve the complex task of creating and supporting a system for the effective use of the scientific potential of the university, the implementation of strategic directions of the unified university scientific policy.

Priority tasks

Formation and support of the university-wide information base of scientific research and development.
Creation of a university-wide system of direct access of teachers and researchers to information resources of scientific programs, funds, etc.
Provision of consulting and marketing services in the field of preparation and implementation of potential research projects.
Provision of administrative and technical (scientific management) support of the process of performing specific scientific research.
Ensuring coordination of activities and combining the efforts of departments and offices of the university in the organization of scientific research and the use of the results of these studies.

Functions of the Division

Implementation of general guidance and ensuring the solution of the complex task of creating and supporting the activities of the system for the effective use of the scientific potential of the university, the implementation of strategic directions of the unified university scientific policy developed by the Academic Council of the University.
Providing administrative and technical support for the process of performing fundamental scientific research.
Monitoring compliance of the developed projects with technical specifications, standards and other regulatory documents.
Preparation of summary scientific and technical reports and submission of scientific and technical information and reports on completed works to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the archive and other organizations.
Administrative and technical support in the preparation of applications for grants and scientific programs by teachers, students, postgraduates and doctoral students of the university.
Implementation of support for university-wide information resources in the field of scientific research, ensuring continuous communication of the educational and scientific process at Amur State University.
Providing practical assistance to teachers and staff in the application and mastery of standardization methods when writing scientific reports, conducting standard control of reports on research work.

Historical background

The Office of Scientific Research was established in 1997 on the basis of the Department of Scientific and Technical Information. In 1998, due to the expansion of the scope of scientific activity of the university, the Office began to deal with issues of innovative research and the word "Innovation" was added to the name of the Office. In July 2009, in the new university structure, instead of its changed name, the Division of Scientific Research was listed.
